Connecting Dropbox
Fictura's Dropbox source/destination reads and writes your local Dropbox sync folder directly — there's no Dropbox account connection or API integration inside the app.
1. Make sure Dropbox's desktop app is installed and syncing
Fictura reads whatever Dropbox has actually synced to disk. If you use Dropbox's Smart Sync/"online only" mode, files that haven't been downloaded locally are just placeholders — make sure the folders you want to import from (or export into) are set to sync fully to your machine.
2. Find your local Dropbox folder
By default this is ~/Dropbox on macOS and Linux, or C:\Users\<you>\Dropbox on Windows — unless you chose a custom location when you first set up Dropbox.
3. Point Fictura at it
In Import or Export, choose Dropbox and enter (or browse to) that folder, or a subfolder inside it if you want to scope things more narrowly.
Keep in mind
Anything Fictura exports here is picked up and uploaded by Dropbox's own desktop app in the background, on its own schedule — Fictura's part of the job ends once the file is written to disk.
